LA RESIDENCIA
Nestled in the hills amidst olive and citrus groves above the village of Deià on the north west coast of the island, this hotel is the result of three carefully restored 16thand the 17th century manor houses. The 45 individual and double rooms are decorated with Mallorcan antiques whilst providing modern comforts. Some Junior Suites have private balconies, terraces or gardens and all have a living room and four-poster bed. La Residencia boasts also 3 suites with private pools and 1 suite with its own plunge pool. The El Olivo restaurant is renowned for its good food, romantic setting and its ancient olive press that gives its name. The excellent gourmet cuisine is prepared using fresh local ingredients. The Son Fony restaurant has a more informal atmosphere and serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The Pool bar and Beach bar are open in warm weather and at the beach lunch and snacks are daily served. The new spa has 6 treatment rooms, four of which have a private outdoor massage area. Additionally, there are 7 beauty therapists on hand, all trained most spa treatments. Leisure House facilities also include a Jacuzzi, a steam room, sauna, gymnasium and indoor pool and 2 tennis courts with a resident tennis coach.
