Spread over four secluded acres in the Santa Maria Hills, Villa Montaña has a spectacular view of Morelia and its baroque cathedral below. 36 Romantic Cottage-style rooms and suites intermingle amid gardens and multilevel pathways to form an exclusive “mini-village”.

Thirty-six units include: 13 standard rooms, 12 junior suites, 10 master suites (one and two-bedroom), and the regal presidential suite. Each is a distinct showplace of interior design blending Mexican colonial antiques and colorful handicrafts for which Michoacan is famous. They all have at least one fireplace, each a work of art in itself, and no two are alike. Rooms have direct-dial telephone, satellite television, internet service, am-fm clock radio, safety deposit box, and large closets – some are even walk-ins! Spacious painted-tile bathrooms have shower-tub, hair dryer and extension telephone. Amenities include nightly turn-down, fine toiletries, terry robes, slippers.
