There are many benefits to booking your trip with our specialists. Our preferred properties often offer exclusive amenities and packages to Distinctive Honeymoons couples; in addition, since we have close ties with luxury properties as a Protravel company, our specialists have access to many deals that you cannot get on your own.
The advantage to using Distinctive Honeymoons over an automatic booking system is that you receive personalized guidance from professionals who specialize in your destination. They will help you shape your trip to accommodate your budget, and fill in all the elements of your trip so you won’t have to, including:

No need for additional towels, kitchenware, or lamps? Then a honeymoon registry could be ideal for you. Our online honeymoon gift registry allows family and friends to purchase a 'piece' of your honeymoon as their wedding gift. Your personalized registry can include unique gifts items such as accommodations, airfare, dining, spa treatments for couples, activities and tours – whatever you desire.
As part of our full service, we will create and customize your registry so you don't have to do the work. We will recommend the best restaurants, sightseeing, romantic spots for whatever destination you choose. Click here to see registry samples.
Save yourself hours of research by telling our specialists your interests so they can create a detailed registry for you. The registry is flexible: if you notice an item that isn’t quite “you” or notice something you’d like to do that is missing, just let us know and we’ll make the proper edits. (A $75 fee will incur, however, if you change your destination/itinerary after the registry has been created.)
You can personalize your page with a photo and message. Put your face on your password-protected registry page to customize it even more, and then write out a special message for your guests. You may want to thank them, share information about why you chose your destination, and tell them how your wedding plans are coming along, or include a romantic anecdote.
Registry Fees: There are no hidden costs in our registry (unlike some registries that claim to be free but are only referring to one free element). We charge a one time fee of $150 that includes the cost of customizing and personalizing your online registry page, 100 personalized announcement cards on linen stock paper (including postage), and 50 inserts for shower announcements. To allow us to manage your account, host your web page, and process orders, a 9% service fee is added to the gift amount which is paid by the gift buyer. Our fee eliminates other typical registry costs, such as shipping, gift cards and gift wrapping.
Already booked your travel before you found Distinctive Honeymoons? No problem! You can still use our online registry for a flat fee of $150.00.
Guests can purchase a gift online or by phone. First, be sure to get the word out! We help you by mailing out up to 100 announcement cards and providing you with 50 shower invitation inserts. Once your guests know you are registered with Distinctive Honeymoons, they can either go to our website or access your registry page to buy a gift, or they can call us during business hours (Mon-Fri 9-5:30pm EST) and we will take them through the process and charge their card over the phone.
Keeping track of your gifts: We will provide a private username and password that allows you to log on anytime to see a summary of the gifts received. The summary includes the gift givers name, gift item and personal note. This is really handy when writing thank you card! In addition, you’ll receive an email notice each time a gift has been purchased.
You’ve got cash! Approximately 10 days before you depart for your honeymoon we will send you 100% of the gifts received in the form of a check. We will keep your registry open for 2 weeks after your wedding date (for the last minute gift givers) and send the balance of your gift monies once the honeymoon registry is closed.
